In “RIO” company Kostolac flower greenhouse has been built this year. It’s placed in the area of the company and disposes with 10.000 nursery plants and all the expectations had been fulfilled.

The greenhouse is an area of 400 square meters. It is equipped with automatic watering. One person is always present there and greater number of workers are engaged in the period of transplantation, regarding a large number of nursery plants. During summer time RIO had 30.000 of flowers seedlings: petunia, semperflorens, begonia, pelargonium, lobelia, lantana…

 

Preparations are made for winter planting as nursery arrives, and 35.000 seedlings of fifteen kinds of flowers are planned. Those seedlings are used to decorate public places. At the moment sale takes place in the greenhouse, but “RIO” company has a plan to open flower shops.
